“You’re going now? I’ll come with you then!” Chanhee exclaimed rather excitedly. He was quick to make his way around the counter and immediately latched onto Zelo’s arm with bright smiles and a content look on his face. “We can walk together~ It’d be like a midnight stroll?”
“You’re so cute, Junhongie~” Chanhee laughed and pinched the younger’s cheek. He wasn’t laughing at Zelo, of course; no, not at all, Chanhee was just touched that the other would think of these things at such a tender age. It was really nice of the younger to think of him. Chanhee smiled and leaned up to press a chaste kiss against Zelo’s cheek before pulling back and tangled their fingers together once more.
“But you don’t have to worry; I’m perfectly capable like you said. It’ll take more than just a few hits to bring me down~ and besides, I’ll have you to protect me, right?” And once again, the two were down on their way to their destination of yummy goods and drinks. Chanhee leaned against Zelo’s arm and hooked his arm around the other’s, fingers still laced. “I think we’ll be fine as long as we stay together…”

Ah, yes… When Chanhee put it that way, maybe it was better that the elder went into battle with him… Had anyone told him that a month prior, he would’ve laughed in their face, punched it thereafter, and then sneered at their pathetic state. But it made sense, sort of. Even if Chanhee didn’t go into battle with him, there was a chance that while Zelo was away, danger would go directly to Chanhee. That thought scared Zelo in more ways that one. He couldn’t fathom what he would’ve felt if that happened. He didn’t think he could stand Chanhee’s scared and helpless features if that ever happened. Shivers ran down his spine as he quickly shook those unwanted thoughts away.
He cast the elder a small smile, fingers untangling themselves from Chanhee’s and wrapped his arm around and across the brunet’s petite shoulders instead. He brought Chanhee close to his body as the two walked on.
“Yeah… I’ll be able to look after you that way… And make sure you stay out of trouble in the meantime,” he teased, smiling from ear to ear. But yes, he’d probably be able to protect Chanhee better this way. It was ironic but hey, whatever worked.
“You’re going now? I’ll come with you then!” Chanhee exclaimed rather excitedly. He was quick to make his way around the counter and immediately latched onto Zelo’s arm with bright smiles and a content look on his face. “We can walk together~ It’d be like a midnight stroll?”
So much for a romantic midnight stroll… Chanhee thought sulkily to himself. The brunet was startled when he was whipped around and felt hands around his arms. He winced slightly when the grip tightened around him but he didn’t comment on it as he knew Zelo meant well. The Angel twirled his fingers and glanced up shyly at the taller male. He smiled meekly and jutted his lips out in a pout.
“I’m capable though, Junhong… I can help you… Don’t you want me to help you? I don’t want you to be the only one out there without a partner; I don’t want you getting hurt when I could easily be there beside you; Junhong, I don’t want you getting hurt knowing I could’ve done something to prevent it…”

Yes, Zelo wasn’t blind to Chanhee’s talents as an Angel; the brunet was quite adept actually but Zelo was prone to thinking negative thoughts, worried thoughts, when it came to Chanhee because this was Lee Chanhee they were talking about and when dealing with Lee Chanhee that just changed everything. He loosened his grip around the elder and sighed, face falling as he shook his head.
“Channie, I love you. I know you’re capable, but it’s because I love you that I can’t let you do this… I’d rather just disappear out on the battle field by myself, I’d rather be the one to get hit or wounded than you… I don’t want you exposed to danger, Channie… I’m sorry I’m so insensitive, I know you want to help; if it were the other way around, I’d be the same, but I just–”

Block B - Be A Light
“You’re going now? I’ll come with you then!” Chanhee exclaimed rather excitedly. He was quick to make his way around the counter and immediately latched onto Zelo’s arm with bright smiles and a content look on his face. “We can walk together~ It’d be like a midnight stroll?”
He found it oddly amusing when Zelo pretended to seem like he was much more composed than what he really felt like on the inside. Chanhee didn’t comment on his obvious intent and instead, decided to humour the boy. He smiled to himself and squeezed their hands together. The brunet edged closer to the other until they were literally touching; he rested his head on Zelo’s arm. “I practiced my Heals today… With Daehyun! I think I’m getting better~ Do you think I can come with you on the next mission?”

Wait… What? Wait, wait, just wait a damn minute - Chanhee said what?! Zelo whipped his head to the shorter male with an alarmed expression. No way! Daehyun hyung did what! “Chanhee!” he exclaimed, eyebrows creasing in worry and slight anger as he stopped abruptly, hands wrapping themselves around each of Chanhee’s forearms.
“You did that with Dae hyung? But why! I don’t want you practicing until… I just…” Zelo preferred never, he’d never want Chanhee to learn because the sooner he did, the sooner the other would want to engage in combat with him and that was honestly something Zelo wanted to avoid at all costs. Placing Chanhee in danger was not something on his to-do list. “Why did you go ahead without me! I told you not to–aish!”
“You’re going now? I’ll come with you then!” Chanhee exclaimed rather excitedly. He was quick to make his way around the counter and immediately latched onto Zelo’s arm with bright smiles and a content look on his face. “We can walk together~ It’d be like a midnight stroll?”
“Junhongie~” Chanhee sang as he swung their arms together. “Guess what I did today!” His adventures in the third world was probably not something he should bring up at this point in time, but there was a part of him that really wanted to tell the other. Chanhee held back of course, knowing this wasn’t the time to bring up something so serious. He wanted to spend the precious time he had left with Zelo before both had to depart back to their respected dorms.

Zelo figured the other went through the same he did. All day he did nothing but stare into space during his schedules; his mind was blank and the only thing in it other than empty space and air was Chanhee’s smiling face. Sometimes when he was literally doing nothing but sitting around, he imagined hearing Chanhee’s voice… Seriously, this boy was going to be the end of him one day. Zelo tried to keep his composure calm; he cleared his throat and looked ahead. “Y-Yeah? What did you do today?”
“You’re going now? I’ll come with you then!” Chanhee exclaimed rather excitedly. He was quick to make his way around the counter and immediately latched onto Zelo’s arm with bright smiles and a content look on his face. “We can walk together~ It’d be like a midnight stroll?”

Knowing Chanhee’s inner helpless romantic side, this kind of thing was probably in his favour. Zelo chuckled and unhooked his arm from Chanhee’s grip; in replacement, he slipped his hand into Chanhee’s and laced their fingers together. “Let’s go then, shall we?” he grinned and tugged the elder out the door.
deathxchanhee said: Good thing I look like a girl.
Are you not a girl???
“Hyung, are you attracted to me~?”

“Seunghyun hyung, the correct answer is no, you are not attracted to him.” Zelo glares, ready to murder the man with his stare if possible.
